Hey guys wondering why i cant solve this problem im a diesel tech for a living and have access to all tools and scanner lift etc my 2003 dually 5.9 cummins runs great made several cross country drives with no problems im throwing no codes other than clutch fan as of last week and a p0483 for the 4x4 witch isnt a problem i beleive.. when i floor the truck on take off the rpms max out and i accelerate great at first the truck doesnt bog or drop power plenty of boost but doesnt seem to be using all of its power sometimes ill have to let of the gas to shift or itll just stay high rpms and not seem to go anywere i have a ats stage 2 transmission that is less than 3 months old when it shifts again at about 45 mph the truck takes off and flys my question is why am i not gettin access to that power before 45 the truck is stock other than new front end e.g deathwobble fix it seems that right before the shift i just have maybe 50percent power than bam take off the truck driving normally has no issues only when im really on the gas does it seem to hesitate or not perform to its potential

45 50 is when the tranny shifts into OD and locks the TQ. That's what your feeling. The not up shifting is a valvebody issue or maybe band adjustment issue!
