transfer case swap

The transfer case in my Dodge 2007 3500 4x4 manual tranny, electric switch (273) needs to be replaced. Found another 273 with an electric switch, but the shaft is different.
Can I just switch out the shafts?

Swap the shafts. Should be just fine
