Fattest one goes to the starter. One is your main power feed. Two wires are grid heaters. Any extras.... well, you gotta follow them and see what they go to.

My truck came with about 5 extra wires~ turns out one was a hidden brake controller, one was (I think) a cb radio that no longer existed, a few went back to a camper shell than no longer existed, and a few went back to the hitch and were zip tied bundled up under the bumper... I suppose for a trailer winch or trailer power something.

I kept having the battery die on me if I didnt drive it every week, and finally figured out it was the brake controller being on 100% of the time instead of only coming on with the key that was doing it. It was hidden under the dash so I didnt even know it was there when I got the truck, so I moved it where I could see it and actually use it.

Goodluck!
