Default Turbo Master for a 93?

Seen where Heath diesel has a Turbo Master for a 93-95 6.5. Wondering why they don't make one for a 92? I was going to purchase one for my 93 but somebody said it was a waste of time. Anyone else run one on there 93?

I don't presently have a TM on my 93 but I did have one on my 94 and it made a huge difference on it cviloa has a thread here on DB on a home made TM on his 93 and he will attest to it being the way to go and in my opinion a 1993 is by far the best year for a 6.5.

I'll try and find the post. Was it hard to install? I've never messed with anything like this before so I dont wanna mess my truck up. Just looking for a little extra power.

It is a very easy install and build and you should be able to get everything you need from your local hardware store for no more than $5.

What should I set my boost at? I've heard 15 is good but to not go over that. Will also be getting Diamond Eye 4in turbo back and crossover pipe at the same time.

For longer engine life set boost to 10psi and you will have to play with it a little bit to dial it in.

I can't get 10-11 out of mine now. So I don't think I'm going to gain anything with a Turbo Master like I think.

then You may be having waste gate actuator problems, when I put the TM on my 94 it was a difference of night and day with the throttle response I think you would like it and you may want to google and think about turning up the IP on your truck or do like I did and get a DB4 injection pump and marine injectors I did on mine and I have no regrets as I have had 20,000lbs behind my truck and it pulled it very well it wasn't a Duramax but it did it well enough for me.

Sorry about that, I meant I CAN get 10-11 psi out of my truck right now. I think my auto correct on my phone changed it.
