Default IP Timing

Can anyone give me like a step by step on how to advance the timing? I know the basics like which way to turn the pump, how far to turn it at a time, etc.. But can someone go into a little detail. Like where the nuts/bolts are to loosen the pump, where the timing mark is, small details like that. My timing seems a little retarded so id like to advance it a little this weekend. I cant really bring it to a shop because I dont have the money, and the truck isnt insured at the moment so I cant drive it there. Its my weekend play around truck so I figured id just do it myself. Thanks in advance

There are 3 bolts holding the IP to the gear housing cover. There should be a line on the middle top of where the IP meets the cover. There should be a line on your IP as well. If there is no line on your IP then you need to make one to use as a reference as to how far you have turned the IP.
