Just bought a 97 F350 4door 4x4 7.3l. Has 220k on stock motor and e4od trans. I need to drive it from Idaho to Texas and other than belts and hoses and fluids what do I need to do to prep for trip ? seems to run good but I noticed a little shutter while at idle very slight but noticeable? Would it be a good idea to change cam sensor etc help guys please long trip with family want to limit chances for possible breakdowns on untested truck!!!

 

i assume you have already taken your trip, but if not make sure to give it a look over, i would not bother changing any sensors. just check everything good and enjoy the drive!
