Injection pump tear down ?
I'm looking for anyone who has pictures of how to tear down the Ip on these trucks . .I have a friend who's truck was stolen .. had fuel .. wasnt ran dry .. now sitting 2 years and just wont start ..
a Blow up of what the look like inside would be great ..
Also .. the very top where the Solenoid is .. what happens if I pull the 3 torqs out and pull that section off ?

I have an e-copy of the Stanadyne manual for the DB2 pump if that helps. My son and I used it to rebuild his in his 88 7.3. Pretty straightforward. I could probably email it to you. I'll see if I can find where I got it from.
Also, if you pull out the bolts where the two wire plugs in, the shut off solenoid, there is a small fuel bowl there under the return line. There is one tricky little metal tang underneath you need to be patient with to position it.

this should work as the link to the Stanadyne manual. The only thing I didn't like is that it does not provide much for spec adjustments. Consequently, my son's truck is overfueling. So we have to open the inspection port and adjust back a couple flats.
Hope this helps some
