Hi everyone ... To make a long story short I took off black plastic box underhood that says 6.6 turbo and capped it off with 2" rubber cap. Was planning on doing pcv reroute but before I could I got on the highway and 20 miles down the highway truck went into reduced power mode. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

 

check the wiring around that area, you could of bumped something, the res delete should eff with anything

 

I'm headed to my house now so I'll check it out and see if that's what happened cause I didn't think it would effect anything. Also anyone got any quick and easy ways to make the whistle from the turbo louder besides straight down pipe and metal intake tube

 

In a nutshell the best way to hear your turbo more is going to be a straight pipe and a good Air intake

 

Straight pipe the exhaust and put a cold air intake on the truck. At that point you are going to need tuning as well to help shut the codes off when you straight pipe the truck.

These three modifications will help efficiency and MPG as well as increasing throttle response and spool up
