1986 f250 6.9 engine computer

Is it possible to wire an engine computer from a 7.3 powerstroke into a 6.9 IDI?

IDI is mechanical .. why would you need a computer on a Mechanical engine ??

PSD is a Electronic engine ... ??

The only thing your 6.9 could share with a 7.3 PSD is a bell housing, they are different animals. The only thing electric on your 6.9 is the fuel shutoff solenoid, temp sensor and oil sensor.
