I ran some errands and came out to my truck and it doesn't start.. I have dome lights the blower works radio works. but I get no lights on the dash for the ABS brankes the wait to start light etc. Where dshould I start looking for problems? I just had a new starter put in about a month ago

 

Ignition switch is likely culprit when instrument cluster is dead but blower and radio still work.

But always check fuses first.

 

Thanks for the info racer.. is this something thats hard to switch out? or something best left to a pro?

 

On a 95 it should not be too hard to change.

IIRC it is located down along the steering column with a rod that activates it from the ignition tumbler-just they can be a bit fussy on adjustment sometimes.

 

Always do the basics first. Run some fuel out the T valve, Check your oil and coolant, Load test the batteries.
I have had to install a new ignition switch in all of my vehicles except the 1994
