egr delete
I'm new to this motor and don't know much about it. I've been having egr problems along with problems with the wastgate. I wana do and egr delete and make a manual wastegate and do away with all the vacuum . my only question is how to do it
Best way to delete EGR is to get an F upper intake plenum, it'll be a direct swap. You can buy the manual wastegate controllers from a few vendors, off the top of my head Heath Diesel comes to mind. You can make your own also, I just quickly found this: Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums - View Single Post - What Spring Length for Homemade Turbomaster
Search around and you'll find plenty of other examples.
Might want to look around here since you're new to the 6.5

You will also need a custom tuned ECM/prom to eliminate the vacuum codes from happening when you delete the vacuum system.
You don't really need to use the F vin intake-just remove the vac solenoids and tie up the pigtails out of the way for all vac related parts and throw the vac lines away. The EGR can stay in place.
If you remove the vac pump a 1" shorter serp belt will also be needed.
