Hey my truck has been wrecked front and back passenger corner impact and now the speedometer won't work at all and over drive well not engage and the alternator will not charge and my cps is fine any ideas where to start

 

It's likely the ECM isn't powering up. I don't have my FSM with diagrams here at home, so no help on which pins to check. You are looking for (in order) battery power, key-on power, CKP reference, CKP signal (running), ASD trigger, ASD return, and grounds.

 

Where is the ecm located at

 

Left front fender behind the battery. The connector will be pointed toward the engine bay and has a bolt in the center to secure it.

 

I checked all the circuit's and I'm getting power to all of it after I did that my charging is working but my over drive and speedometer still dose not work

 

speedometer is caused from the plastic gears that dodge used, if you look on the driver side of the trans, you will notice a cable that runs to the speedometer, you will need to replace it.

when I had my old 93, I bought a app from andriod, it showed me my speed and that is all I used.

for the charging, put your own regulator on and be done with it.

 

The speedometer is electronic and I just replaced the sensor its still not working I got the charging system to work fine but my big issue is over drive not working I have check the cps and pcs all has power I think the wreck shook something loose I fixed the charging system by pulling the pcs connector and putting it on I'm just wandering if there is maby a similarity but I dunno where else to look
