hey everyone i have a 2001 duramax i got a straight pipe and intake no tunes. i keep having a problem with coolant spraying out of overflow and the truck is not over heating. its got new hoses, new rad cap, new thermostats, new coolant. when the truck is cool and you go to open the rad cap coolant comes gushing out.there is plenty of coolant in it and the low coolant light also comes on even though its full.

please help!!!

 

Sounds like you have an air bubble thats trapped .. Run the engine till its warm with out pressure cap on it ...
