Default down pipe help!!

Okay I have a 95 and I am pulling the motor to change the oil pan. Im thinking about replacing the down pipe while I have the motor out. Does this make any difference in sound or power. Basically what i'm asking is a good idea to change or no?

If someone had me an obs and they don't change it they are a dumb ***. It needs to be changed. I don't remember if it did anything to change it or not. I did it about 8 years ago.

If you still have the cobra head flattened out down pipe then change it to a 3". It won't do a lot for power but does help exhaust flow. And if you ever plan on any upgrades later it is a must

If your goning to take the old one out do it now. Its a huge pain to take it out with the motor still in.
