Default Newbie intro

Hello all. I've been trolling around for a while just learning about my 2003 Chevy 2500 DMax. I haven't had any problems since buying this truck in 2004 with 14000 miles on it other than the instrument cluster going haywire. Now the fun begins. I've noticed my truck smoking while stopped at traffic lights for the past year or so and thought that I would have to change injectors sooner or later. Well, I think the time has come. I was changing the oil a couple weekends ago and drained about 17 qts of really thin oil out. So......here I am learning all I can before diving in to an injector change. Thanks to all for sharing your wisdom and experiences with the rest of us. By the way, I have just under 200,000 miles and pull a 40 ft 5th wheel camper.
