runs worse than before!
I have a 96 F350 4x4 super-cab turbo diesel with 73k.
One day it just would not start even though it turned over.
Hauled to the dealership for the major diagnosis.
Left with 2 new batteries and a list of stuff they wanted to do for $2900.
Right!
Ran fine until I:
Changed the cam position sensor, exhaust sensor and the fuel filter.
(all things that were on their list)
Now it has an intermittent miss. Feels like air in the system.
Have driven it about 100 miles so far on short runs.
Tried bleeding through the schrader valve and does not seem to help.
Is it possible I got a bad CPS?
Out of ideas and stumped!!!!

Yeah, the exhaust sensor was the expensive one. $130! the CPS was like $30 and they exchanged it.
Have now replaced the CPS with another new one.
Truck runs the same.
My belief is air in the lines.
How do I bleed it? Just pump more fuel out the schrader valve?

I do have a buddy (a Chevy guy) that has given this truck a quick look and did not have an answer.
He thinks he needs to pull the covers off and bleed the line at the injector.
