Default straight pipe??

I have heard a lot of back and forth on straight pipes I've ran them on gas motors. But I was told that you don't want to do it to a diesel because its hard on injectors. Is this true or faults. If so can you come off the down pipe wish a short pipe for make air flow? Thanks

People who say its bad are idiots and should never be allowed to speak. You can straight pipe it the turbos create all the back pressure you need. You can just run a down pipe if you want, it won't do anything more

Is it a good idea to put a straight pipe on a 7.3 that has 350,000 miles on it or will this make things bad?
