Default Downpipe Install Question

I'm having trouble installing a 3" downpipe on my truck. It seems no matter which way I turn it I cant get it to clear, it keeps either getting hung up on the turbo or the trans. My question is, will it be easier to just remove the turbo and reinstall after? And if so, is there anything I should do to the turbo when its out, i.e, rebuild or clean?

I'm guessing your dp is a 2 piece but it's a tight fit. I had a local shop do mine and the only way to get it in and clear of the motor was that it rides a little bit on the tranny. So depending how yours is going I would say that's how it'll be.

Its actually a one piece I got off an 7.3 ambulance, it looks like it will fit but im thinking ill have to pull the turbo to get it snaked in place.

See if an exhaust shop will expand it, if they will make a 2 piece out of it
