Default trying to remove injection pump

I'm trying to r&r the injection pump in a 2006 lbz. It seems that I'm going to have
to remove the intake crossover tube. Do I have to remove the turbo to get that
out? Do I have to remove the entire intake? Never worked on a lbz and not sure
I want to again! Thanks in advance

no need to remove the crossover tube.

two ways to do it without removing the tube.

1, remove the pickup gear pump on the back of the CP3 or

2, on the Y-Bridge (crossover tube) remove the front bottom and top bolts/nuts and tilt the Y-bridge back to get the needed clearance. it is supposed to be tight but some twisting and turning it will come out

you can get to the back bottom bolts on the Y-Bridge with a 10mm socket and swivel joint and extension

good luck,

Jason

Jason,

Thanks for the info! The back nuts on the crossover tube were a pain, but once that is removed there is plenty of room to remove the pump. Thanks again
