Default Newbie to the Cummins world

Hey guy's I am wondering if I can get some help.
I have been on this sight for around a year and have got a lot of really good advice . This is my first post on the cummins side of it.
I have been a Ford guy my hole life that is until my last 6.0L need less to say I won't ever buy one again. Unless the rumours are true that cummins are going to be in the new Fords. Oh right they will take it mess it right up like they did with international. So maybe not .

To my real questions . My truck is a Ram 3500 bone stock with 70k on it.
It is my work truck I depend on it I am just wondering if there are a few things you guys have tried that work really good. Ie different fuel filters , oil filters , air filters the simple things like that. I am looking for anything that will help dependability and a longer life span .

The only real mod I plan on doing to it is a DPF delete and EGR delete when it's off warranty. Not until then .

So anything you have will be appreciated.
Thanks and have a good one .

Depending what part of the country you're in id say straight pipe it, and do an intake, and you can chip it for fuel economy and towing,

Don't forget to get the proper tuner with the dpf delete kit.
