Default new duramax owner possibly

So I found what i believe to be a good deal on an 07.5 duramax with only 70 thousand miles on it. Only down side its 2wd, but managed to negotiate from 28 down to 25,500.

It has the DPF deleted and egr blocked off. new exhaust and EFI live tuned by idaho rob.

Im new to the whole diesel world, loved the look of the new body silverados and started shopping hard for around 3 months mostly looking at 1500s. drove the 2500 duramax and there was no turning back. Does this seem like a good deal, does the 4wd really make that truck that much better. They just seem a little out of my price range. Any beginner tips to get me started would be greatly appreciated. thank you all

if you live in a place where it snows... might as well buy a 4x4 gas truck if you cant afford the 4x4 diesel...

they duramax/allison is a great combo, but a diesel is a big weight over the front end and if you dont have 4x4 in the snow you're just gona sink and get stuck a lot
