Default 12v build that is way laggy help please

Ok here is my delima. My truck is way laggy won't light till about 2200, and almost impossible to tow my crawler (7500lbs). Put it on 6th gear egts skyrocket so I have to pull it on 5th turning 2500rpm getting like 5mpg.

Build specs.
12v,zf6 6 speed, colt big stick regrind, 4gsk, 60lb springs, 215 pump, #10 plate, cfm intake, 7x10.5, killer b turbo (63/65/14), 20* timing, head studs and fire rings.

One of my issues is truck has 3.73 and 38s, but it was just as bad on 35s.

Truck does have industrial manifold. Is that restricting it that much?

I was thinking of trying a dap 60/68/12 (screaming eagle) what's y'all's thoughts on that? If I like spool but won't stay cool I'll build twins using that turbo. But twins are going to be my last effort.

We have tries all kind of plate and afc settings and can't get it to spool faster, was at 16.5* timing and bumped it to 20*

Afc is tunes to get full fuel at 15lbs boost. Uses softer spring and pressure regulator to tune.

I'm kinda lost on what to do next besides try smaller turbo with a 12cm exhaust.

What do y'all think

If you want to tow on 38s, twins are the only way to go, you can tow at almost twice the HP as a single. I'd run at least an S475 as an atmospheric.

something is wrong that turbine should lite very quick, your sure you don't have any leaks and everything is hooked back up right.

a 63/65 with a cam should light immediately. your gear ratio is a very big drawback in power transfer but the engine should get up and start going regardless. you carrying good fuel pressure? and a different turbo wont help you at all right now you have a very good size turbo for moderate towing.
