Default 96 k1500 with 12V

I found a 1996 k1500 with a 12v for a good price, and the guy says it has 500hp. its also got a 5-speed and pyro gauges, i'm just wondering what I should look for if I go to check it out, what are common things to look for with the 12v? he said the engine has around 200,000km and the truck as 250k. here's the link: 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup Truck - Manitoba Cars For Sale - Kijiji Manitoba Canada.

Unless it's had a solid axle conversion done I'd steer clear, cant see the Chevy torsion bar front end holding up well with the extra weight of a 12 valve.

it's not a 1500, it's either a 2500 or 3500 single wheel. 8 hole wheels on it. I also agree about the ifs. I replace frontend parts on my duramax about once a year. I hate the ifs, but all the parts now are lifetime warranty so i can't see straight axleing it. The cummins weighs about 200-250 pounds more than the duramax so i would imagine this truck would eat frontend parts also.
