if your looking for less boost you will need to moddify your wastegate ... but 28 psi is not an excessive number

With my stock wastegate I was hitting 18-20 psi!
I purchased a bighead wastegate did the adjustment to make it blow off around 30,but would only go up to 23psi!
Pinched it off to see the max and it hit 32psi!
Then I bought an adjustable elbow have it about a quarter way out and it wont blow off or shift unless i let off?
I want around 32-35psi,but also want it to blow off and shift without having to let off!

I don't understand your terminology of "blow off".

A "blow off" valve is not factory equipment on that truck so there will be no "blowing off".

if you want more than 32psi, put a turnbuckle on the wastegate to disable it's function. but this will put stress on a stock turbo and ultimately lead to a premature death of the bearings and shaft.

why do you want to fall under the turbo every shift?

you never want it to release the PSI between shifts.

if the trans isn't shifting at WOT, it is a TPS or a transmission issue, not a turbo or wastegate issue.

TPS is not really as bad as it sounds. But, if its the trans, thats another issue all together.

One day it would shift normal!Pinched off the wastegate then it wouldn't shift?
Sound like a TPS?
