i had a k&n conical air filter on my 1995 powerstroke(it was already on it when i bought it). i was getting about 18 psi of boost laid wide open. i changed it back to the factory airbox and a plain paper air filter from napa. know i am getting about 26-27 psi of boost and about 2 more miles to the gallon. any opinions. i thought k&n was supposed to be better and flow more than paper filters. also the k&n filter was installed by the previous owner about 500 miles before i bought the truck so it was new.

 

goto a 6637 intake from napa...a couple pcs of 4" exhaust pipe and Bob's yer uncle....hth
