Default 1995 12V Going in a 1949 Dodge 1/2 Ton

Hello new to diesel bombers and any help with a build we are doing would be much appreciated!!! I have a 1949 Dodge pilothouse that I found in a barn and i'mputting a 1995 12v 5 speed in it. I have a shop doing a frame off restore on it but they aren't messing with the drivetrain.. I'm shooting for 500-700 hp local diesel shop (smoken okie diesel) say between 10-15k to accomplish those numbers.. my question is how hard is it to get these numbers out of a 12v? is 10-15k a reasonable price? any input would be great thanks in advance

no it's not hard getting those numbers from a 12 valve
as for 10-15k wow, seems a little high to me.What are they doing to the motor and the truck to get that price?
