No backup lights

No backup lights

Hey guys, My 96 cummins/automatic doesnt have any reverse lights and you can put it in gear without pressing the brake. Any idea on what is bad? I already put a new brake light switch in it.

switch on side of trans ..... for reverse if I recall right .... ...... or maybe its inside .... any ways it may infact be the plug @ transmission ...
