Default Smarty programmer question!

from what ive read, a lot of people say smarty is the best programmer for cummins. my question is do they have "on the fly" tuning with like a rotary **** or anything for a 2001 cummins??? or do you have to stop every time you want to tune to a different power level?

smarty is good for common rails. for your year( 98.5-2002) truck smarty doesnt add very much hp. smarty has never had on the fly tuning. for your truck a edge comp or juice would be a better choice.

no on the fly tuning with a smarty.

you need a fueling box for that like edge comp or jwa...

smarty is only a 65hp box on a 2nd gen 24v.

edge comp is a 120hp box. wiretap fueling is required on a 24v to get more than 65hp out of it.
