I found an '84 300SD locally. The ad says 1 owner, very clean, low miles $2k obo. Were all the 300s turbo by this year model? I am going to go look at the car Sunday if possible, and was wondering if anybody could fill me in on some basic info on the model in general. ie...
reliability, common problems to look for, what kind of mileage to expect out of it, etc. I'll post some pics after I go look at it.

I would pick it up. You might have to have some tranny work done, but with low miles it probably is ok for a while. I would buy it if it was closer to me.
