on my 6.7L the overhead screen said catalyst full see owners manual, manual said to drive at highway speed and the catalyst will clean out. well i did just that and when it reach about 30% the check engine light came on.curious as to whether this is this common among the 6.7s or do i have a problem on my hand? the only mods are a afe cold air intake which i wouln't think would throw a code. thanks for any feedback!!!!!!!!

 

its the dpf just drive it and it should clean its self out(or i know it does on the chevy) my buddy cut his off on his 6.7

 

It is your DPF. My did it too. By the time the overhead said catalyst full, I had to go to the stealer and have them take care of it. IF it's at 70 or 80% the system can clean itself by driving 50 mph or faster for a while.

 

I put some LED lights on my truck and when the dealer hooked it up to the comp it showed them that there was a draw

 

good news the check engine light went off and the dpf cleaned itself. i installed my ts mp8 today, on a highway trip my overhead went from 14.0 to 20 and 21 mpg, i could'nt believe it. i will do a hand mpg test soon to make sure of the accuracy of the overhead, might be too good to be true?????? ohh yeah the extra 100 hp is a welcome companion
