I am going to be doing the EGR and DPF delete on my truck. I have narrowed it down to 2 tuners.. the Smarty JR and the EFI live Autocal. The smarty looks to be a no brainer (yay!!) and the EFI live looks to be kind of a P.I.T.A. but i dont know becuase i have never used either one of them. What are your opinions??

 

EFI Live definitely has a longer learning curve but it is will worth it. far better tunes then any canned tuners. if you dont want to learn to tune yourself then just purchase one from a professional tuner and load it up

 

Yea you need the license and equipment to make your own tunes. Torque Diesel Does tunes for $100.00 a tune I believe, and they are by far the best way to program your truck..
