Do you have to remove the down pipe to see which way the flapper valve sits when it is opened or closed? Someone before me has disconnected the rod and the flapper just moves around by itself while you are driving...I tried to reconnect but there must be a trick to it or I just don't have enough hands. apparently you have to pull out on the rod while sliding back the clip on the end of it and push the valve so it lines up with the hole in the rod....very frustrating to reconnect but I am only pushing 3 boost max all the time after just putting on 4 inch pipe. Any suggestions?
