Hello everyone new to this, I have some questions on doing a dpf/cat delete on my 08 6.4
I was thinking of buying the h&s mini maxx dpf/cat delete but what effects will this have on my egr? I am not looking to race the truck but from what I am hearing the 210 tune is a good way to go. Also will this make my truck smoke? should I also do a egr delete? If I do all of the above will I have drivability problems? The main reason for doing this is my dpf is clogged and I'm not spending 3000.00 to fix it. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

 

You don't have to delete the egr as the H&S will disable it in the computer.

Well I ordered the mini maxx race with dpf/cat delete and cold side intake tube. Hope I like it.

 

It wont cause performance issues but it does shut off all your sensors so no codes are thrown. The only issue you might see is if the EGR blows then the sensors wont catch it because they are turned off. Not a big problem in the 6.4 since the EGR system was upgraded and works pretty good.

Yeah I bought the egr delete kit but just haven't had the time to do it.
