ok I have a 2006 megacab dually 4x4 and want to run the shaved 22.5 alcoas so that I can fit a regular 22 inch tire are any of you running this set up and if so what size tires are you running I cant find any clear answers on what size tires will work on this set up thanks guys

 

None 22.5's have a tapered bead seat and 22's have a squared bead seat. Mounting the wrong size tires on wheels is a good way to get killed.

 

you can take the 22.5 to a machine shop and have the bead milled down a quarter of an inch and run regular 22 inch tires with no problem I am just trying to figure out what tire size to run on my truck

buy the correct wheels in the first place?

 

I have done this to 3 trucks before just never a 4x4 just trying to get advise on tire size
