Default 7.3 Head gasket prep

Wondering has any one tried to open up the steam hole in the head gasket to help coolant flow ?
has anyone ever used copper Gasket sealer on the head gasket to help it seal better ( as far as coolant and oil are concerned ) ?
I'm doing mine and just thought I am doing mine and thought I might see if anyone has done any of these tricks to gain some cooling efficiency ?

was thinking bout "port matching" the HG to the block and such ...... unless its gonna cause issues ..... no theory's just facts please ..

We install gaskets on dry clean surfaces. No sealers of any type. Virtually all manufacturer instructions state to install the gasket on a clean and dry surface. We don't modify the gaskets in any way before install, don't have any data to support why, but if I have to pull it again because it leaks, we pay for it. Not the customer

yeah I do too normally, but on some of our Detroit 60's we use copper gasket sealer or high tack .... helps with adhesion .... as far as the holes I'm not gonna just shoot in the dark here but wondering if anyone has tried it and failed or succeeded ..... don't wanna have to do this again anytime soon ...
