Hey everyone, first cummins, have a few questions

I need a fuel tank for my 97. There is a local one listed on craigslist for same year but is for a gas motor, obviously draining the tank out and cleaning it first, would it work if i swapped sending units? Looking for the cheapest price on a fuel tank, thank you!

 

i cant imagine why it wouldnt. maybe take a look at the profile of the one in your truck to make sure.

 

Check that your sending unit will bolt up to it. If not, pass.
