First post! Hay guys I'm having a small problem with my e4od, just bought the f250(7.3 idi) about a month ago from some kid for $1200...low miles.... When I got it you would have to manually shift and only had 2nd,4th, and reverse..that told me the tranny was getting no power...played with the connector and got it shifting all on its own...problem is...when it shifts, it shifts hard...1-2 and 2-3 ..
the kid already replaced the mlps and the tps (not adjusted?)doesn't look old....the wire on the rpm sensor looks like it rubbed through and you can see the bare copper wire...but the tac. Works fine...maybe the vss on the tail shaft? Speedo kinda jumps around but it's not bad.....before you say anything, yes I did a forum search many times and didn't come up with squat...I just don't want to be throwing parts at it to see what works...I hope you guys would be kind enough to help a newb ...thanks!!!!
