Okay so I have an edge comp box and it has been working great. I was playing with the settings today while driving, which I have done before, and all of the sudden something got messed up. I no longer have pre boost fueling like it's very odd. I can not get black smoke anymore and the pre boost settings seem to do nothing. And the main stage setting is weird too when I have it in 2 it has more power than 5 but the box now is restricting instead of giving power what did I mess up?

Oh yeah! And I unplugged it with it running and the check engine light came on. I wasn't thinking when I did that and I thought the comp was an on the fly adjustable box was I wrong there? I plan to reset everything tomorrow but did I mess the box up?

Well I figured out today that if I out main stage setting in 2 and have sub setting (pre boost fueling) in 5 I get some power but nothing like in 5 by 5. It seems like main stage 1 3 4 and 5 are not allowing any pre boost fueling while 2 is allowing a little. Cause once the turbo spools it goes but it's stupid. This is why. In 2 by 5 I get the most pre boost fueling but in 5by5 I get more power once the turbo is spooled which is supposed to happen but now it's a loose loose. My box must be messed up? Please help me idkk what's goin on I hate it. If it is the box can somebody tell me where I can get it fixed or how to update it? Or reset it?

 

Youll need to call edge, some can be sent in and fixed others they cant do nothing with and they'll offer you a small amount for your comp towards a new one.

 

i had the same problem with mine but i unplugged it since i wasnt getting anything and then left it off for a bit pulgged it back in and made sure it was seated all the way and started working check that otherwise you will more then likely have to send it in.

 

my buddy hooked up a juice w/attitude and it worked fine but then a couple days later his truck basically lost all power. come to find out the map sensor went out(coincidence?) but i replaced it and actually runs better than before...
