Light whiff of white smoke when under load/warm engine?

Light whiff of white smoke when under load/warm engine?

We have a Massey 275 with the Perkins 248 pushing it. When mowing or plowing, it'll emit some white smoke. If you throttle it, it'll burp a bit more out. It has no hesitation and doesn't feel down on power. Ideas?

isn't white smoke coolant? maybe a crack in a head gasket?
