Hello everyone.
I am considering getting a hx40/35 to replace my stock hx35. I would like to hear from you guys if this turbo will work for a daily driver and tugging a trailer around once in a while. My biggest worry is that it will be laggy. Please share your opinions on this turbo.

I think the turbo would be ok for you.

 

My last truck I had minor mods 50 horse injectors banks electronics and I didn't have enough to push it properly in my opinion. Swtiched back to hx35 but I was only pushing 32 pounds on it so I shouldn't have upgraded anyway. Egts went up. Of course it coulda been the worn out truck with almost 400k on it.

 

We have a Brand New K27 that has a billet 60mm compressor that will outflow and outclass an hx35/40. Pricing is competitive. Its a great option for those with a exhaust brake with the clamp on elbow.
