i have a 2007.5 3/4 ton cummins with the egr and dpf deletes done and this morning my check engine light came on so when i got time i hooked up my smarty Jr to check and clear the code and it came up as "P2262-turbocharger Boost Pressure Not Detected - Mechanical" is this some thing i should be worried about?

is the turbo working normally? usually the acuator hangs up and sets codes. The dealer used to have a cleaning kit they would use on them. I think most have done away with cleaning because it was only around a 20k mile fix before they had to do it again. I think most are just replacing the turbos now. Best thing to do to keep it from hanging up is delete egr which you have already done and to use the exhaust brake almost all the time.

 

the turbo seems to be working normally, i haven't been using the exhaust break too often but i will put it on and see how it goes.
