Looking at getting one need advice
I've been thinking about getting rid of my second gen and go with something a little newer I'm still undecided whether I was a 5.9 or 6.7. I just wanted to know is there anything specifically I should look at when I go to look at the truck and is there any issues dodge/ cummins has with the newer ones? Like the 2nd gens had a problem with dowel pins and 53 blocks
I would say for the 6.7s finding one thats already deleted would be a good thing! That dpf junk is hard on the motor, or if u do get one that dont have it done try and get that done to it! Will last longer with less problems.
And if you get the 6.7.
I'd get the DPF delete kit and programmer before you can't anymore. A lot of companies are gonna stop making the kits and programmers because of the gooberment cracking down on that stuff.
