I have long been a Ford owner from a 53 Merc Ht, a 57 Fairlane 500 conv, a 60 Starliner ht, a 67 f250, a 91 F250, a 2000 Expedition w/7.3 diesel and now a 07 f350 superduty 6.0 turbo. I was really anxious to get this truck, gota good price and all went well for about 6 mo and then after I put about 6k miles on it it started blowing white smoke a couple times after high rev starts from stoplights ( not racing, wrong gear). Then I noticed coolant usage. Then one day I got mass white smoke, drove less than a mile and parked it. Next time I tried to start it, no fire. Rolled over good but wouldn't start. Tried a shot of either with no success. Had a local mech check for codes with little success. He tried to get it to run but no luck. I contacted dealer who only got mad saying I bought it with no warranty and they would do nothing. After some research on the net I decided to replace oil filter, fuel filters. No luck. Next pulled oil cooler, egr valve, egr cooler. Plugged off egr cooler, replaced oil cooler, put it back together and still no fire. Logged onto this site and decided to follow some advice. Checked FICM voltage, good 48.3 all around. Got some silicone spray and woohoo it fired off but still won't run. Guessing a bad HPOP. Any thoughts? Thanks
