I recently bought a 40500 triple dog and realized the original owner forgot to change tire size back when returning back to stock settings. When we noticed this the truck was already gone from the body shop to be salvaged. Im in great need of the unlock code to restore it. I want to avoid the $100 from bully dog and know that its possible if a fellow coal roller wants to help. Thanks in advance.

This sucks, 2nd programmer I have bought and its vin locked. The last one they said was discontinued and they couldn't do anything for it. Guess ill call them Monday.

 

wondering if youve gotten anywhere with your situation? I bought a used 40500 power pup and the guy i bought t from traded his truck in over a month ago so its long gone. Heard of people getting A tech from BD to unlock one time for free but been on hold 4 hours and 3 different techs(i think) and no luck. trying to avoid getting a refund. Could really use one of those, my cousin/brother/brothers's sisters mothers so and so works for BD and heres there name and number .

 

Seeing as you have an 06....ditch the power pup and get EFI live.

hi I'm new to this forum and new to the diesel world, I apparently just got screwed on buying a used bully dog gt, it's vin locked and Bully Dog wants $250 to unlock it. Is there a cheaper way around this? I'm already $350 into this tuner and another $250 Bully Dog wants to reset it......
