bought the adapter from nicktane.com hooked it up and everything. primed good started right up then died out. checked to make sure all my seals were seated good, no leaks or anything and i cranked both the adapter and filter down pretty good... long story short, kept losing prime and kept dying on me so i just threw the old napa gold back on there for the time being but i really wanna run this setup simply cuz the filters are way cheaper.

 

Did you do anything with the check ball in the factory filter head?

 

completely forgot.. its still in there, makes complete sense why it wont run now that you pointed out the obvious to me. thank you
