I'm looking at an 08 duramax that's only $13,500. I was wondering when they started using the urea injection in the duramax (I'm thinking it has it). If it does have it, are there ways to get rid of it and all the other exhaust restrictions without spending too much or tripping any codes?

 

no, i don't think the 08 had the def.I believe chevy started putting it in 2011.
