my truck is a 2005 cummins w/ fully built tranny, bd cp3, silver 66 turbo, bd 90hp injectors, fass system, gauges, edge juice with hot unlock, all mods done with in the last 2 years.

i have a weird noise coming from the engine bay of my truck, it sounds like a "staticy" grinding type of noise, like something is spinning and no properly lubricated. it starts when my truck is about half way warmed up and continues the whole time i drive. it doesnt exist at idle or when ever im building more then 10lbs of boost, normal at light (cursing throttle) and up to half throttle. never at w.o.t or idle (park, neutral or drive). i have a couple error code, one is P1223, the other is because i dont have a wastegate plugged in (i have a silver 66 turbo and never bought the adapter to fool the computer) and the other has something to do with my cooling fan (the truck never gets hotter then normal temp) non seem to effect the driving. an ideas?

 

Likely one of the idler pulleys is failing, or the water pump is failing...
