Intended as a Glacier truck, this thing is pretty massive, rear end was swapped to a D60 though but has a D70 ball (centerpiece) so that it's got the diff of a 70 with 60 axles...

Thing is all stock with 4.10 ratios, we're going to be looking to make 400whp or so, no smoke and some serious power.

Should he be looking to upgrade to a HX40 or something else ??

I'm thinking a Silver 62 should do the trick... along with SDX 5x.014 injectors... and some 16,5° timing...

 

First thing I would do is put some different gears in it! Sweet rig though!!

 

Not enough lift for tires that big

 

You do realize that this is intended for driving on glaciers, with high wind speeds, we want preferrably no lift at all... there are no rocks, this thing just has to float on ice and snow

It has a NV4500 with a SB-13125OFEK clutch, we're going for a #6 plate, 5x.012 injectors and 15,5° timing, some AFC tuning and i think we should have a stout 300hp truck to start with...

we might tear it apart in the coming summer so that we can build something better for the motor

Hey bro, long time no type. Hows the leg, AND, Ya get your tiwins all dialed in yet?

 

Twins were working but my HX60 was improperly balanced so it grinded the compressor housing and threw fragments into my Super 40 but it's getting sorted out... looks like the Holset dealer who rebuilt the HX40 is to blame...
