i have a 2005 dodge ram 3500 4x4 quad cab diesel automatic that the wait to start light came on and is staying on.no active codes but has one actron freeze code if p1222.how do i check to see what the problem is.it also chimed about 10 times when it came on.it is stock.it is not missing but feels like it doesnt have as much power as it did.please help have no clue where to start.it had an overhead done and all new injectors about 6000 miles ago by cummins.thanks bruce

 

P1222 Code is coming up as an Injector control circuit problem. I just googled "Cummins P1222 Code" and it popped up, and also linked me to a few threads about the WTS Light staying on.

 

ok thanks.i found that today too.but where should i start.the grid heaters are working properly.i also read that when the return rail pressure is lower than it should be it trips the wait to start light.how so is that?
