does anybody know how to shut off the horn alert when it's in reverse and the door is open 05 dodge Cummins

 

Mine will just ding inside idk if when I did the seatbelt thing if thst changed it or not.. what you do is plug the seat belt in then turn the key to the on position undo the seat belt and redo it 3 times with the key to the run position and then turn

the key off then you are good to go

No, its hard coded in the porgramming and you cannot back it out.

Ride the brake with the door open and it won't honk, or, close the door.

 

if you figure out a way please repost i just bought my first cummins and mine does this drives me bonkers on the job site when i am hooking a trailer by myself

 

yes i agree thats when it drives me nut too.

 

Keep light pressure on the brake pedal or click the seat belt together without actually putting it I like behind you or plug the cent councle one into the drivers
